Providing support to Kickin With a Cuz, an organisation founded by Jade North to promote health and well being activities for youths through football.
Kooreel is a BIRIPI word meaning ‘shield’
The shield signifies connection and unity.
The shield symbolises the importance of ceremony and the unity of two clans.
Each clan is represented by their totem, animal or emblem which is carved at each end of the artefact.
In indigenous culture, the totem serves as a guide, and it is our responsibility to protect and honour it.
Our Values
We are committed to enhancing opportunities, fostering partnerships, and promoting employment for Indigenous Australians.
Our Vision
Kooreel is dedicated to transforming lives within the community by embracing culture, respect, values, and the land through Indigenous economic development.
Our Mission
By providing job opportunities, education, and support, we can empower Indigenous people and businesses to help close the gap. Working together to advocate for diversity and honour the various Indigenous cultures and their contributions will pave the way for a more equitable and inclusive society for all.
